#infosec17 – The Final Day!

Today may have been the final day of Infosecurity Europe 2017, but London Olympia was once again packed with cybersecurity professionals and there was more invaluable content across the stages.

If you missed it, here are some of the best bits from today and throughout the week at Infosecurity Europe.

Cyber, risk & resilience in sport & business…
Today’s Keynote programme kicked off with a look at risk and resilience, in particular the comparisons across sport and business. The Right Honourable Sebastian Coe was on hand to share his expert perspective on cyber risk and explain how challenges in the lead-up to the Olympics were overcome.

We chatted to Sebastian following the session to find out more.

Welcome to the hall of fame…
Day three at #infosec17 welcomed Mary Aiken into the Infosecurity Europe Hall of Fame.

Mary’s inclusion recognised her long-term contribution to the information security sector as the world’s leading expert in Forensic Cyberpsychology, her work as an advocate and educator in information security and her role in raising the profile of the information security sector.

Earlier today we caught up with Mary to hear a little bit about today and her career.

Fostering cyber resilience within the organisation…
That was the topic of discussion over in the keynote theatre this afternoon. Richard Horne, Partner at PwC was on stage providing invaluable perspective on how to respond to cyber security scenarios as they unfold.

Richard gave us a round up of the key points following his session.

That is it…
